@AlistairRiddoch it was unclear why you said that in your post, and you put it in quotes, which makes it appear sarcastic. I'm still not sure what meaning you're tyring to impart by saying it - contextually, I just don't see why you said it. Your post could benefit either by its removal or by adding some clarifying context about why you're saying it. In addition, your first comment makes it sound like you're saying physicists think it's sacrelige to contradict Einstein -- all these things together create a very strong impression of you being a particular kind of physics-denyinig crank.
